About Nita Wilton, cattle mentor and instructor: “Our farm is a 180-acre, 1881 homestead located near the Columbia River Gorge. Our goal is to be as
self-sufficient as possible. We rotationally graze our beef cattle, and raise
most of our own food, use wood from our woodlot for heat, and maintain our own watershed, using a hydraulic rams for water delivery.” Nita is available for private consultation. Follow Nita’s humorous and informative blog “Throwback at Trapper Creek” at http://matronofhusbandry.wordpress.com/.
