Harvest Share

Bring a little. Take a little. Share a lot!
Too many tomatoes? Extra jars of jam? Homemade bread, dried herbs, or something delicious to share?
Bring your extra homegrown or homemade goodies to share! Sample, swap, give away, and discover what your neighbors have made or grown.
Produce • Preserves • Baked Goods • Herbs • More!
BRING – Share-sized portions, plus samples & serving supplies.
LABEL – Ingredients, date made, and storage needs.
ENJOY – Mingle, sample, share & swap.

Seed Swap
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
St. Bede’s Church. 1609 Elm Street, Forest Grove
Local gardeners will gather to swap seeds they’ve harvested from their own gardens, leftover seeds from packets, and seed packets generously donated by local businesses.
Please label seeds with species, variety, date of harvest, and hybrid or not.
No seeds? No problem! Everyone is welcome — whether you’re a seasoned seed saver or brand new to gardening. We simply encourage guests to bring seeds to share after their future harvests.

Join our monthly planning meetings—our work depends on community involvement, and we’re looking for more people to help grow and sustain this shared effort.
Community Events
Stop by and say hi to us! Come and build community in the best way we know – over a meal. You can learn firsthand how we grow our community and the ways to participate!

If you can’t make it to one of our meetings, try coming to an event!
Our events focus on supporting our pillars of growing, teaching, and sharing. We strengthen our local food systems with food drives and gleaning events that donate to local food pantries. Through our Gardeners and Farmers Library, school visits, and bringing in speakers at events to learn from, DCCFW strives to provide education for our community at various events. We also host events at shared facilities such as kitchens that help our community learn and grow with each other. In the past, these events have included the Spring Up! Plant Sale, Farm Your Garden: Kitchen-Garden Tours, Food Film Nights, and a Seed Swap.
