This month we will be showing “The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil”. Free film, free popcorn, thoughtful conversation at the Forest Grove Grange, 1917 “B” Street. Donations are encouraged to support the work of Dairy Creek Community Food Web. “Cuba survived an energy famine during the 1990s, and how it did so constitutes one of the most important and hopeful stories of the past few decades. It is a story not just of individual achievement, but of the collective mobilization of an entire society to meet an enormous challenge.” R Heinberg
Friday, September 27th, is the date for our Salad Supper at the Senior and Community Center. Be there at 5:30 for a taste of the month’s local bounty.
