Once a month, every fourth Friday, the folks from Dairy Creek Community Food Web and Community Matters co-sponsor with the Forest Grove Senior and Community Center (2037 Douglas, FG) a COMMUNITY SALAD SUPPER (summers) or COMMUNITY SOUP* SUPPER (winters). Starting at 6 pm we come together to create our simple supper of salad, bread, side dishes, and beverage. All community members are invited to come, and if you bring a veggie, we’ll add it to the salad (or winter soup). After we cook together, we eat together and get to know each other. Then we clean up around 7 to 7:30 and move on to other parts of our lives. We sincerely hope you will join us. *Note: in the winter, we start to prepare our soups at 5 pm, and are cleaned up by 7 or so. Please join us! We are always working to include new people – and “build community.”
